Ten Thousand Things
Multicultural Webfinds

"Ten Thousand Things" is a Buddhist expression representing the dynamic interconnection and simultaneous unity and diversity of everything in the universe.

PHOTOS from STONEWALK JAPAN 2005 & STONEWALK KOREA 2007

The Stonewalk pilgrimages for peace have been the opposite of what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called a "chain of violence." They are, instead, a chain of peacebuilding. Each Stonewalk has catalyzed another Stonewalk.

2008's GRIEVING & HEALING FIELDWORK IN OKINAWA (February) AND JEJU ISLAND, KOREA (March) grew out of STONEWALK KOREA 2007 which grew out of STONEWALK JAPAN 2005.

These photos commemorate some past Stonewalks (click on photos to enlarge).

Stonewalk 2004 in NYC, at the same time the Peace Boat was in the harbor, so many Peaceboaters helped pull the stone through the city.
