50th Issue Celebration

On the afternoon of June 9th, 2002, staff, contributors and readers of KyotoJournal celebrated the magazine's 50th issue at Enkoji Temple, in north-eastern Kyoto, overlooking a garden of azalea bushes and moss shaded by green maples.

Thanks to all who helped to organise this event, especially Sherry and Hirofumi, to the three students who graciously made macha for us all, and to all who attended... and our supporters everywhere, including readers and contributors, without whom the magazine would not exist.
