John Brandi has been faithful to the craft of poetry, painting, and journaling for most of his life. A recipient of numerous awards, including a National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowship, he is an ardent traveler with over 30 books published in the U.S. and abroad. Brandi’s paintings and collages have been featured in solo exhibits and are in collections worldwide. His two latest poetry collections are: Facing High Water (White Pine Press) and Seeding the Cosmos (La Alameda Press).

Renée Gregorio’’s published collections of poetry include The Skins of Possible Lives, The Storm That Tames Us, Water Shed: Aikido Tanka, and Drenched. Published books with others include Road to the Cloud’’s House (with John Brandi) and Love & Death: Greatest Hits (with Joan Logghe & Miriam Sagan). Her poetry is informed equally by the stillness and expansiveness of northern New Mexico as it is by her wide-ranging travels to places such as Bali, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and India. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing from Antioch University, and the rank of sandan in the martial art, aikido. She is a certified master somatic coach, writing coach and creator of the poetry dojo, a learning environment in which participants explore the wisdom of the body in relationship to the writing self, removing obstacles to deep expression in writing.
