1970 滋賀県生まれ

1996 県立平塚職業訓練校 木工科 卒業

1997 神奈川県厚木市にて特注家具製作を主とした木工業

「studio Fav.」を創業。

2004 滋賀県日野町に工房を移転。

父、飯田雅彦主催仏像製作、修復工房「近江日野工房」へ加入

2013 屋号を「カネハチ」に変更

2016 滋賀県近江八幡市へ工房を移転

2021 同地に ショールームを開設。

刃物を駆使した造形美を追求し、独自の表現を求めて日々研鑽を積んでおります。

Takehiko Iida

Biography
Born in 1970 in Shiga, Japan
1996 Graduated from the Woodworking Department, Hiratsuka Vocational Training School
1997 Founded “studio Fav.” in Atsugi City, Kanagawa, specializing in custom furniture production
2004 Relocated his workshop to Hino Town, Shiga
Joined “Omi Hino Studio,” a Buddhist sculpture production and restoration workshop led by his father, Masahiko Iida
2013 Renamed his studio “Kanehachi”
2016 Moved his workshop to Omihachiman City, Shiga
2021 Opened a showroom at the same location

Artist Statement
Iida pursues sculptural beauty through the skilled use of hand tools, continually refining his craft in search of a distinctive expression.
