Exchange and Return (Refund Policy)

In the case of returns or exchanges at the customer’s convenience

Products before shipment: Orders can be cancelled by clicking the Cancel button on the website.

Items after shipping: Unopened items will be refunded or exchanged for an item of equal or lesser value at the customer’s expense, as long as the customer notifies us by email within 10 days of receipt of the item. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for products that have been opened.

If the product is damaged

We will refund or replace the product with a new one at our shipping cost. Please contact our Customer Support Center (contact@kyotojournal.org) first.

Time of delivery

As a rule, orders are processed within 7 business days; within Japan, within 10 days; and outside Japan, usually 2 to 3 weeks (although there may be significant delays due to postal conditions in some countries).

Payment period

The customer pays for the product immediately for credit card payments, but must transfer the money within 3 days of the order for domestic bank transfers.
